7 degrees with8/8 and a light south westerly this morning.  Up to 14 degrees mostly sunny with a vey short shower this afternoon.
Anglers CP:  Snipe 1.   40 Sand Martin were flying high over this afternoon.
Pits Wood: Treecreeper 1.
Wintersett Res:Blackcap 3 singing males.  Kingfisher 1.  Willow Tit 2 singing males.
The Cetti's Warbler saga continued today with 5 singing males  heard today.  The north bank, west bank and south east corner  birds were performing as usual.  The boathouse bird was heard in the northeast corner this morning.  By late afternoon afternoon he was singing on the north bank and then, shortly after, back in the boathouse reeds.  A new bird was singing loudly on Cold Hiendley Res, in trees at the bottom left of WRes spillway bridge at midday.
