Old Moor - 27th March

Sightings at Old Moor today included the following :- Booming Bittern, adult Mediterranean Gull, Stonechat on footpath to Reedbeds. New in today were 4 Black Tailed Godwits on the Mere this morning and were still present at 17.30. Goldeneye up to 14 on the Main Marsh and also 59 Shoveler. 24 Goosanders, Ringed Plover and 6 Oystercatchers on the Wader Scrape. At least 3 Brambling around the visitor centre and 6 Waxwings in Broomhill Village.
