Cliff Wood to Stocksbridge

Cliff Wood - 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 male Common Redstart and 1 male Pied Flycatcher. Pairs holding breeding territories were:- Woodpigein (3), Stock Dove (1), Great Spotted Woodpecker (1), Jay (1), Jackdaw (3), Coal Tit (1), Blue Tit (6), Great Tit (6), Willow Warbler (2), Mistle Thrush (1), Robin (8), Nuthatch (3), Treecreeper (2), Wren (2), Chaffinch (7) and Greenfinch (2).
Midhope Reservoir - 11 Greylag Geese, 2 Canada Geese, 6 Mallards, two pairs of Teal, 3 Little Grebes and 3 Common Buzzards.
Midhopestones - pair of Grey Partridge, eight pairs of Lapwing, 1 'chippering' Snipe, 8 Curlews and 50+ Jackdaws on Midhope Hall Lane and 25+ House Sparrows at St James' Chapel.
Underbank Reservoir - 21 Mallards, pair of Great Crested Grebe, 2 Moorhens, two pairs of Coot and 1 Kingfisher (unusual here).
