An evening visit to Old Moor the highlight being 22+ Dunlin. Otherwise pretty much status quo although 20+ Swifts came down with the cooling weather. Also, Bittern 'booming' regular, Goosander, 3 Ringed Plover,Common Sand, Med' Gull, 2 Common Terns. So not a great deal but it feels good to be back birding!
Adwick Wash: pair Garganey + Spot Red still.
Edderthorpe: Black-tailed Godwit 14 (Gaz Ump), Whimbrel 1
And a couple of bits that went in one ear n came out 'tother' yesterday:
Reed Warbler Reedbeds (where the 'balmy Bittern' was safely relieved of its indignity).
Whinchat Edderthorpe.
