Back to the 'man-flu pit' again for me tonight (yes, a slight improvement on last night!) meant only pre-work visits to Broomhill Flash and Manvers Lake, with little to show for it. Others were more fortunate and from the bits I have picked up the most exciting news was that a Bittern managed to squeeze into one of the reed planting cages on the Reedbeds and had to be released. Amazing!
The Adwick stuff was still present late afternoon when two Whimbrel flew west.
