UFO Sighting ..

A slight variation to my usual posts of buzzards, peregerines et al but we came across this lethal looking thing whilst hoping for views of the male two barred xbill today at Broomhead ..

It was a good 2 and a half inches long and if it had lost its' temper I would have been away !!

Anyone know what it is please ?
