Ingbirchworth Reservoir - a further two recently hatched broods of 13+9 Mallards gives a total so far of 70 ducklings from seven broods. A very high average of 10 duckling per brood. Also present were:- 34 Mallards (minus the ducklings), 2 Tufted Ducks, 1 Little Grebe, 3 Great Crested Grebes, 5 Moorhens and 10 Coots (+ five active nests but no young yet).
Midhope Reservoir - Mallard + 2 ducklings, two pairs of Little Grebes and 1 Hobby.
