Wintersett 33 years Blockbuster

10°C up to 13°C by midday,  warm but with a cooling north easterly this afternoon. 
Highlight of the morning was a HOODED CROW  that flew west over Haw Park Lane  at 12.15hrs. It is 33 years since one went on the year list!!
Anglers CP: The male Garganey was still present this morning, but it was flighty.   A Red Kite circled slowly east  at 09.45 hrs before leaving west. Common Tern 4 and Common Sandpiper 1. A Whimbrel flew north at 15.35hrs. 
Wintersett Res: Arctic Tern 1,  Yellow Wagtail 1m and Buzzard 1,  Sedge Warbler 3m  ( 2 WRes, 1 MHLPonds).
Botany Bay: Kingfisher 2.
Stubbs Wood:  Green Woodpecker 1m.
Haw Park Wood:  Tawny Owl 1 + 1 fledged young.
Odonata: The 1st Common Blue Damselfly of the year was on the north bank of Wintersett Res..
