Wombwell Ings mid AM- Present were 2 Cormorant, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Mute Swan, 15 Canada Geese, 2 Shelduck + 6 young,19 Gadwall, 12 Tufted Duck, 11 Mallard, 2m+1f Shoveler, 1 drake Garganey, 8 Lapwing + 1y, 4 Redshank, 3 Snipe, 2 Red Legged Partridge, 4 Skylark and 2 Bullfinch. Extras from an early PM visit were 2 Mute Swan + 6 cygnets, 1 Greenshank and 1 Linnet.
Broomhill Flash late AM- Noted were 2 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Mute Swan, 39 Canada Geese, 18 Greylag, 1 Pink Footed Goose, 26 Tufted Duck, 12 Mallard, 4 Gadwall, 2m+1f Shoveler, and 2 drake Pochard.
TPT-Singing males 5 Willow Warbler, 4 Whitethroat, 3 Chiffchaff and 1 Blackcap.
Bolton Ings late AM/early PM-On the open water were 2 Little Grebe, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 3 Mute Swan
+ 8 cygnets, 37 Tufted Duck, 4 Gadwall, 3 Pochard, 2 Mallard. 1 Shoveler, 3 LBB Gull and 1 Common Gull. Also noted were 1 Cormorant, 11 Canada Geese, 11 Greylag + 6y, 1 Kestrel and 60+ Swift.
