This week's menu of Black Tern starter followed by Rough-legged Buzzard, Short-eared Owl, Red Kite and Honey Buzzard was nicely rounded off this morning with an adult male MANDARIN in eclipse on Wintersett Res - the 3rd record for this site
Anglers CP Vis Mig: All birds flying south unless stated. A steady morning but highlights were:
Meadow Pipit 145, House Martin 52, Swallow 24, Greenfinch 35, Siskin 28.
Wintersett Res: A flock of 24 Mistle Thrush were feeding in fields south of Botany Bay.
