Not Again

According to Birdguides a Grey Phal on the Mere today also 2 little stints, 1 curlew sand and 2 spot reds on Wath Ings.
Hats off to the guys that braved the weather today to find these.

On a more serious note; I've been up to Edderthorpe tonight and the river is coming into the Ings at full speed, so I think we can safely say that the wader autumn passage has finished for this year up there.
There's been a big effort by a few of the locals to find something good on Edderthorpe Ings this autumn. So the flooding comes as bad news.
This flooding can't be helped - only wish it was going into Houghton Washland instead of Edderthorpe.

Stop press - now 3 little stints
