Cold,wet and windy start to the day but rain stopped around 09.00 and it was much warmer, but still windy, by mid morning.
Wintersett Res: Garganey 1 adult male in eclipse (but then flew in to ACP). Wigeon 36, Teal 3 + 6 ACP. Willow Warbler 1.
Anglers CP: Snipe 2 flew over, 2 flew SW and 2 dropped in. Yellow Wagtail 4, House Martin 150, Sand Martin 150. Little Grebe 17 + 5 WR + 5 MHLPond.
Also flying in the area: Common Blue, Red Admiral, Comma and Speckled Wood butterflies.
Old Royston Flash: Greenshank 1.
