Old Moor - Midday Update

New in today to confirm Autumn/Winter is here are 3 redhead Goosanders on the mere, a juvenile Peregrine has been showy all morning bothering the Lapwings/Golden Plovers. Other waders include 4 Ruff, 6 Dunlin and 4 Green Sandpipers. No sign of Spotted Reds yet today but they are spending a lot of time on Bolton. 2 Goldcrests have been seen on Green Lane, 2 Buzzards over and a count of 110 Wigeon. Finally 2 Little Egrets on Broomhill.
