A nice day today for a change although a little cold at times but an early count on Broomhill Flash produced:-
1 Snipe, 11 Tufted, 2 Shovelor (pair), 13 Gadwall, 87 Wigeon, 4 Pochard (2 pair), 2 Shelduck (pair), 5 Mallard, 7 Goldeneye (6 female & 1 drake), 6 Little Grebe, 28 Canada, 2 Pink Footed Goose, 2 Mute, 185+ Black-headed Gull, 2 Common Gull, 1 Herring Gull, 31+ Coot, 6 Moorhen, 1 Red-legged Partridge, 1 Kestrel, 1 Common Buzzard and 4 Brown Hare. Little Owl heard by J Seeviour as locking we were locking up.
