A bit 'wild and windy' out in the hills today so myself and Mr Tyke decided to leave Low Moor and head out to the shooting cabin on Broomhead Moor where we could at least get a bit of shelter ..
Usual suspects on Low Moor though with a sprawk, 7 greylags, mipits, snipe, lapwings and curlews all present ..Not much to see out at the cabin but we did get 2 Canada geese, 3 common buzzards, a raven and a flock of c12 golden plovers for our trouble .. The odd swallow was seen passing and a snipe was chipping in the bottom of the valley ..
