Very little birding for me today but fortunately a few bits from others, the most noteworthy being the second report of Raven at Old Moor this year; a single flying southwest over the bypass at 16.10 (Chris Harris). Hopefully a sign of things to come? Other birds at Old Moor included Bittern, 2 Med' Gulls and a Black-tailed Godwit.
Additional notes from earlier post for Wombwell Ings: 2 Avocet, 1 Dunlin.
Edderthorpe: Pintail, 6 Avocets.
And finally a male Blackcap visited feeders this morning in a Wath-upon-Dearne garden (Dave Cutts).
