Wombwell Ings- Present were 1 Grey Heron, 3 Mute Swan, 12 Canada Geese, 4 Greylag, 24 Gadwall, 16 Tufted Duck, 15 Mallard, 3 Shoveler, 1 male Garganey, 15+ Lapwing, 11 Dunlin, 7 Avocet, 6 Redshank, 4 Ringed Plover, 3 Little Ringed Plover, 1 Snipe, 2 Grey Partridge, 1 Sparrowhawk, 5 Skylark, 1 Blackcap, 1 Chiffchaff, 2 Reed Bunting and 2 Linnet.
Bolton Ings- On the open water were 3 Little Grebe, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Cormorant, 1 Mute Swan, 33 Tufted Duck, 11 Pochard, 7 Mallard, 3 Gadwall, 2 Shoveler and 1 Common Gull. Also present were 1 Grey Heron, 12 Greylag, 8 Canada Geese, 1 Buzzard, 80+ Swift, 1 Grey Wagtail and 1 Kingfisher.
TPT- Singing males included 5 Chiffchaff, 5 Whitethroat, 4 Blackcap, 4 Willow Warbler and 1 Song Thrush.
Broomhill Flash - (per Mick Rushton) Noted were 2 Little Grebe, 1 Mute Swan, 21 Canada Geese, 13 Greylag, 14 Tufted Duck, 3 Mallard, 2 Gadwall, 2 Pochard, 1 Shoveler, 1 Kestrel, 3 Red Legged Partridge, 1 Grey Partridge, c50 Swift, c12 Swallow, 4 Sand Martin and 2 House Martin.
