Not much time today busy showing Yorkshire in Bloom judge around the site with Keith Bannister, Rod Heeley, RJ Boland, Pete Wall and council officials. However, we did hear Buzzard and there were 3 very young broods of Tufted Ducks totalling 17 young.
A male Southern Hawker was patrolling its territory and the judge couldn't help seeing and picking up on the wonderful aroma of Ladies Bedstraw, Hedge Bedstraw, Wild Marjoram and Musk Mallow, to name a few, along the disused railway embankment.
