The Fleet - Highlight was viewing, from the back of Wombwell Ings hide, two Little Ringed Plover chicks feeding along the edge of a dyke and their parents keeping a close watch over them. Also seen were 5 Greylag, 1 Oystercatcher, 27 BH Gull, 9 LBB Gull, 7 Herring Gull and 4 Skylark.
Wombwell Ings - Present were 7 Mute Swan, 8 Gadwall, 2 Mallard, 1 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 7 Lapwing, 4 Little Ringed Plover, 89 BH Gull, 2 Pied Wagtail, 4 Linnet and 2 Reed Bunting.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 2+3y Mute Swan, 41+1y Canada Geese, 2+2y Greylag, 13+15y Gadwall, 8+7y Tufted Duck, 3 Mallard, 6 Little Grebe, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Little Egret, 1 Barn Owl, 78 Coot, 11 Lapwing, 1 Oystercatcher and 3 LBB Gull.
TPT - Singing males 5 Chiffchaff, 4 Blackcap, 1 Sedge Warbler and 1 Whitethroat.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 11 Mute Swan, 5 Greylag, 4 Canada Geese, 31 Gadwall, 5+3y Tufted Duck, 2m Pochard, 6 Little Grebe, 2+3y Great Crested Grebe, 7 Cormorant, 167+9y Coot and 2 Common Tern. Also present were 1 Kingfisher and 1 Kestrel.
