Wombwell Ings - Present were10 Mute Swan, 68 Canada Geese, 21 Mallard, 4 Gadwall, 2 Grey Heron, 1 Cormorant, 51 Lapwing, 1 Wood Sandpiper, 26 BH Gull, 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Lesser Whitethroat (Bulling Dyke) and 9 Linnet. Peter Kent also had 1 Shelduck and 1 Common Sandpiper.
The Fleet - Viewable were 128 Canada Geese, 32 Greylag, 6 Mallard, 2 Grey Heron, 1 Cormorant, 1 Kestrel, 58 Lapwing, 1+2y Little Ringed Plover and 10 BH Gull. Peter Kent also had 1 Common Sandpiper and 1 Curlew.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 2+3y Mute Swan, 23 Canada Geese, 93 Mallard, 44+15y Gadwall, 12+9y Tufted Duck, 19+ Little Grebe, 1 Little Egret, 1 Peregrine, 1 Kestrel, 108 Coot, 2 Moorhen, 24 Lapwing, 1 Common Sandpiper and 2+3y LBB Gull. P. Kent also had 1 Barn Owl and 6 Herring Gull over west.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 7+4y Mute Swan, 21 Canada Geese, 29 Gadwall, 13 Pochard, 2 Shoveler, 1 Mallard, 1 Tufted Duck, 5 Little Grebe, 3+1y Great Crested Grebe, 7 Cormorant, 195 Coot, 1 Grey Heron, 76 BH Gull, 4 Herring Gull, 2 LBB Gull and 1 Common Tern. Also present were 2 Buzzard, 1 Marsh Harrier and 2 Kestrel.
