Mostly clear blue sky with a cool north west wind but warm in the sun.
Anglers CP: Grass cutting yesterday flushed many of the ducks but the male eclipse Garganey was on shallows in front of main hide this afternoon. Cormorant 20, Shoveler 35, Kingfisher 1, Whitethroat 1, Willow Warbler 1.
Wintersett Res: Pochard 28, Yellow Wagtail 2 flew over + 1 over ACP. A Lesser Whitethroat and 2 Willow Warblers were ringed today.
Also flying: Holly Blue butterfly 2, Silver Y moth 1.
TUFTED DUCKS: A total of 614 in area. (446 CHRes, 89 WRes, 79 ACP)

Good count although still a couple of hundred short of record I believe? Early days yet though.
