Nights so days

Morning visit to Old Moor in blustery conditions: About 1,000 Golden Plover flying around but just would not settle. Wath Ings: Green Sand 3, Dunlin 1. Mere: Goosander 2. Nobody on channel all morning so no news at all from elsewhere although may have been some coverage as it would seem that with retirement comes the increasing ability to forget radios, mobiles, batteries or even sometimes binoculars...................
