Snippets

Old Moor: A Bittern was seen in flight at the Reedbeds today.

Broomhill Flash: Little Egret, 70 Pink-feet over.

Adwick Wash: Little Egret, Shelduck.

The Fieldfares are arriving in decent numbers now, but there's plenty of fodder to go at!

Might be plenty of fodder in the Dearne Valley, John, but there's a lack of berries up here. Both Holly and Hawthorn have hardly produced any.
