Factor in the wind chill, and this has been the coldest day of the year. Minus 2degrees start and an icy north to northeast wind, with snow showers this afternoon.
Wintersett Res: A drake and a redhead SMEW were present at midday, after being seen separately on Botany Bay and CHRes in the morning.
Anglers CP: The female Long-tailed Duck and the Barnacle Goose were here. 2 Curlew flew over. Also here - 16 Goosander, 20 Redwing, 10 Fieldfare and a Buzzard.
