A Little Moor

A nice surprise this morning was a flock of 60+ Waxwings in a garden on Probert Avenue, Goldthorpe, some of which were singing (as such), the first time I've ever heard this. They came and went a couple of times and weren't there when I called late-afternoon but judging by the amount of droppings on the tenants car they hadn't  just arrived.

Other news:

Old Moor: Bittern, 2 Med' Gulls, Little Gull adult-winter on Mere this evening, 5 Brambling

Adwick: Ringed Plover 4, LRP 3, Curlew 2, Dunlin, Redshank 12, SE Owl.
