Broomhill Flash mid AM- Highlights were 1 Swift seen over Wombwell Ings and 2 Wheatear seen in the back field. Also noted were 4 Little Grebe, 17 Tufted Duck, 4 Gadwall, 5 Shoveler, 3 Mallard, 1 Kestrel, 1 Sparrowhawk, 3 LBB Gull, 222 BH Gull, 2 Redshank, 2 Snipe, 1 Little Owl, 4 Sand Martin, 3 Swallow and 1 Jay.
Bolton Ings late AM- Along Warbler Way were 3 House Martin , 4 Sand Martin, and singing males- 9 Chiffchaff, 5 Willow Warbler and 5 Wren. On the open water were 7 Little Grebe, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 3 Mute Swan, 96 Gadwall, 41 Tufted Duck, 18 Pochard, 5+ Mallard and 2 Teal. Also noted were 21 Canada Geese, 5 Greylag, 2 Oystercatcher and 2 Kestrel.
Wombwell Ings early AM- Per S. Abbott. Present were 1 Grey Heron, 17 Tufted Duck, 12 Teal,8 Gadwall, 6 Shoveler, 1 Shelduck, 2 Oystercatcher, 2 Avocet, 4 Ringed Plover, 1 LRP, 1 Black Tailed Godwit, 6 Redshank, 1 Dunlin, 1 Common Sandpiper and 6 Meadow Pipit.
Mid PM additions- 10 Redshank, 3 White Wagtail, 3 Yellow Wagtail and 2+ singing Skylark
