Anglers CP: Highlight this morning was a stunning male Redstart in the north bank field. The first Whitethroat of the year was in the same field.. A Yellow Wagtail and a Redshank were on the north bank.
2 Ringed Plover flew SW. A Curlew flew over the fields and 1 flew west over CHRes at 11.35.
Also here: 3rd W Yellow-legged Gull and 3rd W Lesser Black-backed Gull. Wigeon 1.
Wintersett Res: Shelduck 2, Common Sandpiper 2 + 1 ACP, Fieldfare 1.
Old Royston Flash: Pink-footed Goose 1, Teal 1 male, White Wagtail 1, Yellow. Wagtail. 1 and Little Ringed Plover 2. Linnet. 10 and Meadow Pipit 2.
Butterflies: Small Tortoiseshell 1 WRes, and Comma 1 ACP.
