Broomhill Flash Mid AM- Signs of Spring at last, when 2 Sand Martins flew in at 9.14 am. Also present 5 Little Grebe,2 Mute Swan, 27 Canada Geese, 6 Greylag, 1 Shelduck, 47 Wigeon, 20 Tufted Duck, 3 Gadwall, 2 Teal, 3 Shoveler, 1 Pochard, 3 Snipe, 1 Redshank, 2 Kestrel, 1 Buzzard, 2 Little Owl and 1 Red Legged Partridge.
Bolton Ings late AM/early PM- On the open water were 9 Little Grebe, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 3 Mute Swan, 88 Gadwall, 35 Tufted Duck, 6 Pochard, 5+ Mallard, 2 Teal, 1 Shoveler, 700+ BH Gull, 3 Common Gull and 3 LBB Gull. Also noted were 1 Cormorant, 20 Canada Geese, 6 Greylag, 1 Kestrel, 1 Jay, 1 Redwing and 3 singing Chiffchaff (TPT).
Old Moor car park- 2 Swallows flew towards Field Pool at 1.20pm.
Wombwell Ings early AM- Per S.Abbott. Present were 2 Grey Heron, 1Whooper Swan, 15 Teal, 8 Tufted Duck, 5 Shoveler, 5 Redshank, 1 Snipe, 1 LRP, 3 Red Legged Partridge, 2 Grey Partridge, 8 Redwing and 1 Meadow Pipit.

upon closing Broomhill there were 4 Curlew flying east towards Oldmoor at 19.40.
Also 20+ Waxwings at Charles Street, Grimethorpe 17.00.
