Carlton Marsh

On the wader scrape this afternoon 30 LBB Gulls and 33 Herring Gulls.

Southern Hawker male and female were on the wing.

Butterflies included 4 Gatekeepers and a Chimney Sweeper Moth just wouldn't settle. It was the first since June 2014.

In the early hours a Beautiful Marbled and a Leopard Moth were caught in my Cudworth garden. The former is a scarce Migrant from mainland Europe/Africa first taken in Dorset in 2004 and as far as I know is new for Barnsley!
