Ringing recovery

A Black-headed Gull ringed as a nestling at Broomhill Flash on 23rd May 2000 was found (fate unknown) at Garstang, Preston (Lancashire) on 25th September 2012. A distance of 102 km to the WNW, after a period of 4508 days (12 years, 4 months, 2 days). The oldest known for the area to date.
