Carlton Marsh

Somebody switched on the light today so we could see after nearly a week of low cloud. 40 Pink Feet Geese flew west at 08.05hrs (Keith Bannister) Our resident Buzzard pair were perched up together, Water Rail, Coal Tit, Song Thrush, Willow Tit, 2 Cormorant, 2 Mute Swans north were in addition to the residents and 10 Greylags came in at dusk.

Cudworth - Rose Tree Estate
The Waxwing flock dwindled today from 16 this morning to 9 by late afternoon, most of the berries have been eaten. Today's sunshine allowed us to see them in their finery. (Geoff Miller et al)
