Hardly seemed to get light at all today, but it was a calm and mild day nonetheless. No sign of yesterday's goldeneye or teal.
A flock of c50 redwing were at Hill Top off Lodge Lane and there were much smaller flocks of goldfinch (10), siskin (15) and long-tailed tit (8) throughout the woodland.
Coot (32), little grebe (2), mute swan (6), whooper swan (1), Canada goose (31), goosander (9 - 3m/6f), kingfisher (1), moorhen (12), pochard (1), tufted duck (38), mallard & black-headed gull.
A good figure of 39 species were seen today including kestel, great spotted woodpecker and a song thrush belting out the tunes.
