Yes Wombwell Ings is looking good from Darfield. But the RSPB still need to start managing this site properly, which means 30 to 60 % of the grassland area covered in water during winter and then a steady draw down of the water levels during March to May to catch any potential breeding birds and also passage migrants. Leaving the site in its current un-managed state is unacceptable.
