The previous one was way back on 25/4/1993.

Carlton Marsh

Today's best birds were Grey Wagtail, Snipe, Swift and 15 House Martins. Sedge, Reed and Garden Warbler are singing good and loud now.
The one-eyed Fox was on the prowl and Buzzard was showing well along with Kestrel and Sparrowhawk.
It was pleasing to see so many Mayflies over the dyke, this would not have been possible a few years ago due to oil pollution.
Butterflies included Small White, Comma, Orange-tip and Peacock.
