Carlton Marsh

A Yellow Wagtail on the Wader Scrape at 06.45hrs left north at 0.700hrs. Also here LRP, Redshank, a pair of Greylags with 6 goslings and Lesser Whitethroat. A Cuckoo was singing first thing along with 12 Blackcaps, 7 Reed Warblers and 5 Sedge Warblers.

This afternoon 2 Peregrines were seen together nearby (Dave Smith) and 4 Swifts arrived, our first. (Dave Standish)
