Edderthorpe, Sunday morning

Little change from yesterday;- Shelduck 7, Pintail 1 drake, Wigeon 49, Gadwall 58, Tufted 45, Pochard 26, Water Rail 1, Oystercatcher 2, Golden Plover 21.
Houghton Washlands;- devoid of birds again, no idea why because it looks so inviting?
Ferrymoor;- Pochard 5, no sign of Ringed Plovers in my brief visit, presumably they had been flushed.

Mid- morning in addition to Edderthorpe 20 Redwing, 15 Chaffinch,2 people walked round and never put their 2 dogs on a lead even when they walked by the cattle.
Houghton Kingfisher on Dearne there and 2 Oystercatchers left for the Flash. It probably is getting disturbed by gog walkers.

The problem on Houghton is not gog or even dog walkers - there havent been any near at the early hours I visit. It is something else wrong with the food in there - there presumably isnt any! Its a serious problem as just nothing is feeding there, no ducks, Lapwings, gulls, wagtails, partridge, etc.
