Wintersett 06.06.13

Cool easterly but bright early on and got much warmer by midday.
Anglers CP:  Yellow Wagtail  2, Common Tern 2,  Meadow Pipit 1 pair back of hide,  Teal 1 ♂, Goldeneye 1♀,
Disposal Point:  CUCKOO 1 ♂,   Little Owl 1
Cold Hiendley Res:  Buzzard 1 over.  Mallard 22
Wintersett Res: A Coot had an exceptionally large brood of 8 young.  3 new Mallard broods 7 + 3 + 1.
Butterflies and Moths:  Highlight of the morning was the first ever record of DINGY SKIPPER on the east bank of WRes.    Also here: Small Yellow Underwing 1,  Orange Tip 1♂ and Blue-tailed Damselfly.  A Mother Shipton was on the Disposal Point yesterday.
