4 Water Rails (1 singing) 3 Redshank, Little Owl, 2 Grey Wagtails, Siskin north and Barn Owl hunting at 19.04hrs. A Hedgehog was out and about at dusk. (Dave Standish)
South Kirkby Tip
Ringed Plover, White Wagtail and a Small White butterfly were the highlights today. (Corrall & Hibbert)
Storrs Mill Wood
Buzzard 2, Grey Wagtail 3, Green Woodpecker 2, Chiffchaff 4 singing and Red-legged Partridge 4.
Butterflies included Brimstone 2, Comma 12, Peacock 7 and Small Tortoiseshell 20.
