Today's highlights were - 6 Herring Gulls, Redshank, 12 Greylags, 24 Canada Geese, (wader scrape) 10 Redpoll, 1 Siskin, 5 singing Chiffchaff, Kingfisher, c50 Jackdaws, Buzzard, Sparrowhawk, Water Rail, Great Spot Woodpecker 'drumming',
Our first Orange Underwing Moth of the year was flying around the top of a Silver Birch and a Primrose was flowering
