Anglers CP: Shoveler 1. Pochard 4. Tufted Duck 2 medium young. Teal 1. Cormorant 8. Yellow -legged Gull adult - Psycho!
84 Birds were ringed: Highlights were - 24 Blackcap, 9 Reed Warbler, 15 Chiffchaff, 13 Willow Warbler, Garden Warbler 1, Whitethroat 1.
Lepidoptera: A Small Skipper, a Peacock and a Meadow Brown were on the Pol.
14th August 2019
9 - 15 degrees, cool with 8/8 grey cloud and drizzly rain showers.
Anglers CP: Greylag Goose 94, Canada Goose 181, Shoveler 3, Pochard 7 + 7 WRes.. Tufted Duck 1 in wing moult. A Little Egret flew in to the shallows at 09.15hrs. Common Sandpiper 1. A ringed Plover flew west at 09.40hrs. Swift 7 + 3 WRes.. A Yellow Wagtsil flew over.
Botany Bay: Little Grebe 1 fledged young.
Wintersett Res: Goldeneye 3 (the female's wing looking good). Kingfisher 1. Common Tern 16.
