Sparrowhawk 2 possibly 3 juvs. calling, Juv. Buzzard.
17 species of butterfly were seen today that included 1 Painted Lady, 12 Red Admiral, 4 Peacock, 7 Comma, 16 Meadow Brown, 36 Speckled Wood, 26 Gatekeeper, 2 Small Heath, 1 Brown Argus, 1 Common Blue, 1 Holly Blue, 6 Small Copper and 28 Large White.
Day flying moths - Pyrausta purpuralis, Lesser Treble Bar and male Vapourer Moth. Also 3 Hornet Mimic Hoverfly (Vollucella zonaria) (Chris Parkin).
