15 Swallows mobbed a a Buzzard.
Butterflies included 1 Green Veined White, 8 Gatekeeper, 7 Meadow Brown, 4 Ringlet and a male Common Blue. 2 Straw Dot and 2 Shaded Broad Bar moths were flushed.
Locally a Sparrowhawk killed a Wood Pigeon in a nearby garden on Royston Road. It took the head off before flying away.
