A Common Tern was present first thing this morning again and a fresh dead Shrew was found on the embankment (. K, Bannister).

Insects included 1 Painted Lady, 1 Red Admiral, 2 Dingy Skipper, 15 Common Blue, 10 Small Blue, 14 Small Heath, Shaded Broad Bar moth, 2m 1f Banded Agrion.
Common Spotted Orchid is flowering (Chris Parkin).
