The best bits from today were 2 pairs of Shoveler and an adult Common Gull on the wader scrape, and a Peregrine was on a chimney at Ardagh Glassworks (Neil Lunn).
c150 Pink Feet Geese flew SE at 10.40hrs (JP).
Another c200 flew South over the Pinfold Hotel, Cudworth at 16.40hrs (CG).
Management work this morning saw more removal of scrub on the embankment, and overhanging bushes were cut back to allow better access for a Barn Owl to use the nest box (C.M. Wildlife Group)
