Good weather yesterday and overnight enabled a few migrants to sneak in, and encouraged the late wintering wildfowl (Teal, Goldeneye, Tufted Ducks) to depart.
Highlights today being - a choir of warblers - 2 new Whitethroats, 2GARDEN WARBLER (WR) and at long last 3 SEDGE WARBLERS (Pol ACP!)
Wintersett Res - Goldeneye 1immature male , Redshank 1 flew east, Common Tern 9, Yellow Wagtail 1.
Anglers CP - Pink-footed Goose 2, and 1 singing Lesser Whitethroat.
Also in the area - Swifts 150, House Martin 50
