It's great to hear about all this stuff that's been seen in the Broomhill area over the last month - but I have to say..........it is now August, the MECCA should have been running now for the last few weeks.
What would we be getting if the MECCA was up and running??? !!!

It's good, but good is not good enough......only EXELLENT is acceptable.

Hahahaha !!! - sorry that you think that way.
But the older Wath Ings birders will know what I'm talking about here.
When I say older i mean the 'originals' that were there from the real start of the project in the 1970s.
A couple of them have mentioned Wath Ings to me this week i.e. how the seasons have changed and become earlier and how this should be reflected in water levels at Wath and at other sites in the valley.
So its not only my opinion here.

Too many opinions. Not enough Bird Sightings - as the name of the blog would suggest.
