Moorland & Upland Round-up

Low Moor, Hazelhead - a pair of Oystercatcher and at least two pairs of Lapwings.
Townhead - four pairs of Lapwings.
Upper Windleden Reservoir - three pairs of Canada Geese and 1 drake Mallard.
Windleden - four pairs of Lapwings, three pairs of Curlew and 2 chippering Snipe.
Winscar Reservoir - thirteen pairs of Canada Geese, 80+ Mallard (the ones that look like true Mallards)and 6 Black-headed Gulls.
Lower Maythorn - 1 male Wheatear,
Whitley Common - 2 displaying Lapwing and 6 Curlews.
Broadstones Reservoir - 5 Mallards and two pairs of Moorhens.
Ingbirchworth Reservoir - 1 Canada Goose, 10 Mallards, 5 Tufted Ducks, a pair of Great Crested Grebes, two pairs of Little Grebes, 2 Moorhens, 15 Coots and 2 Common Gulls.
Royd Moor Res. - 1 Cormorant.
Langsett Reservoir - 1 Canada x Greylag Goose hybrid, 9 Canada Geese, 6 Mallards and 3 Common Sandpipers.
Midhope Reservoir - 9 Greylag Geese, 3 Mallards, two pairs of Teal and a pair of Little Grebes.
An influx of Willow Warblers noted at the last four sites.
