Three ringing recoveries have just been recieved from the BTO and all concern nestlings ringed in the lower Dearne Valley:-
A Lapwing (DK93227) ringed at Wombwell Ings on 26th April 2012 was found long dead by the River Dearne at Darfield on 6th February 2013.
A Sand Martin (L488222) ringed as at Old Moor (Mere) on 5th June 2012 was controlled at Wintersett Reservoir on 31st August 2012. 12 km NNW.
A Sand Martin (L488233) ringed as at Old Moor (Mere) on 17th August 2012 was controlled at Icklesham, Hastings (East Sussex) on 18th September 2012. 323 km SSE.
