Bolton Ings - Bird of the day was a cream crown Marsh Harrier which gave good views as it quartered up and down the eastern pool for over 25 minutes at 12.45pm. We were quite surprised when another cream crown flew up from the eastern end to join the first bird. They gradually flew high and west but not before we had a chance to get Ivan Martin in Wath Ings Hide onto the birds. Pleased to return a favour so quickly.
