Wintersett 11.09.16

12 - 19 degrees with 8/8 cloud first thing, sunny spells later and a light southerly.
Anglers CP Vis Mig:  07.30 - 12.00hrs.  A  surge of birds first thing and then raptors from mid-morning.
Going south: Meadow Pipit 431,  Swallow 100,  Sand Martin 2,  Yellow Wagtail 2,  Siskin1.
A total of 33 Buzzards were seen from mid morning: 1 flew south at 10.30hrs.   19 more formed the biggest kettle  of Buzzards seen here, drifting west.     A total of 13 more also  drifted west up to midday.  A call from Ian Beveridge at Pugneys, alerted us to an OSPREY, which we managed to pick up circling high , drifting  south, to the west of HP Wood at 12.15hrs. This bird was seen over Bolton Ings at 12.50hrs.   A Hobby flew over ACP at 14.35hrs  and a Peregrine went over the Pol field at 16.32hrs.
